Bum Marketing - How Does Bum Marketing Really Work?

Some people spell bum marketing with a space between the two words, others spell it all as one word. Take your pick as to which but for the sake of argument, I will spell it Bum marketing and here is how it works...

Say you don't have any money. I know a lot of folks like that. Also, let's say you have no website nor do you know how to build a website... there's a lot of folks like that to.

Now, suppose someone came to you and said it didn't matter about these things because he would show you how you could make money online anyway, and do it in a matter of a few days.

That is what Bum Marketing is all about. Travis Sago coined the phrase and has become somewhat of a legend, but the concepts of Bum Marketing have been around for quite awhile.

Basically, anything you can do to drive traffic to a sales page where a sale is then made which pays you a commission, and no money out of your pocket was spent, qualifies as Bum Marketing.

If you read this article or any article really, and then find a link in the Author's bio or resource box that leads you to a sales page or to some type of page with more information and a link from that page to a sales page, you have experienced Bum Marketing, or article marketing in this case.

It only takes a little time to write an article and submit it to an online article directory. It does not cost you a single dime to do this. Now, if you want to not spend any money at all through the whole process, then you would link that article to a free blog, Squidoo lens, Hubpage or any other free web building platform you are familiar with.

You would provide valuable content there as well and then put an affiliate link to a product you have agreed to try and sell for someone else in exchange for a commission.

This is really affiliate marketing but you are doing it without spending any money and any bum off the street could do the same thing if he knew how.

So, if you have no money you can now make money due in large part to the Internet and the theory of Bum Marketing, however you choose to spell it!
